Our Story

Mindful Labs is the co-creation of Megan and Zack Prager with the support and wisdom of leading experts and colleagues in the Mindfulness, Compassion, and Positive Psychology fields.

Mindful Labs was founded out of a deep respect, trust, and love for how the practices of Mindfulness and Compassion can support well being. We know this through personal experience. Mindfulness and Compassion have helped us navigate the tough moments in life with more resiliency and ease, and brought us more in touch with hope, creativity, empathy, and joy.

Inspired by the personal benefits, we have gone on to do numerous professional trainings through UPenn's Applied Positive Psychology program (MAPP); UC San Diego's Mindfulness Based Professional Training Institute (MBPTI); Stanford's Center for Compassion, Altruisim, Research and Education (CCARE); Compassion Institute (CI); Mindful Schools; Upaya Zen Center; Koru; Mindfulness-based Awareness and Relaxation Training (ART); numerous yoga teacher certifications, and more.

Each day we feel grateful for the support of our own practice and teachers. Nothing brings us greater joy than sharing the practice and science of Mindfulness and Compassion with others.

What People Say:

“Megan combines impeccable organizational skills, warmth and deep kindness that is quite unique. It was a joy and an honor to be in her MSC class. I will apply the principles I've learned for the rest of my life and Megan was an incredible teacher to learn from." -Roman S.

I loved the whole MSC class. I learned a lot about my very loud critical voice in my head, and how to balance it out with my compassionate voice. And I actually am doing it! Real and applicable. -A. N.

"What a gift! I came to the Mindful Self-Compassion course intending to learn better ways to teach compassion in the addiction recovery field. I did. Most importantly I had many deeply moving experiences and I was profoundly changed. The tools will stay with me, my skills in self-compassion are growing and my contentment is deepening."-Andy L.

“Megan Prager is a very special person. Her sensitivity and compassion made each week so meaningful and I was so grateful that I took the program. The balance of learning new information, breakout group discussions and individual reflections was delivered by Megan in a very engaging way.” -Anonymous

"Mindful Labs classes have a special quality of always making me feel 'right'- in my mind, my body, and life experience. I have taken classes with Megan and her gift is her compassion and her ability to listen, no matter the circumstance. She is a skillful facilitator. And she has a gentle way of asking thought-provoking questions that always lead me to finding my own truth."-Jess N.
